The white paper "Black holes, gravitational waves and fundamental physics: a roadmap", a global and joint effort of the COST Action CA16104 consortium has been accepted to feature in Classical and Quantum Gravity. This is an extensive review but also a future looking roadmap for this exciting and thriving research field. The pre-print version can be found in the arxiv: [arXiv:1806.05195 [gr-qc].
